We have an open door policy because Democracy Prep strives to put the public back in public schools.
Our doors are wide open to those who want to learn from us. Thousands, including former U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor, Jay-Z, Neil Patrick Harris, and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg have seen our scholars in action.

While doors to all our schools and our classrooms are always open, we know not everyone can come see us in person. Between our open door policy and our year-end trips to Washington, D.C., Boston, San Francisco, Canada, England, Italy, France, Ecuador, South Africa and South Korea, literally thousands of people have seen our scholars in action. Among the lucky from across the world:
