Democracy Prep Charter School first opened its doors to sixth grade scholars in August 2006 and currently serves scholars in grades six through eight. Because of the tremendous progress scholars have made each year, Democracy Prep Charter School was ranked the number one public middle school and the number one charter school in the entire city on the 2010 Chancellor’s Progress Report.
Graduating eighth graders go on to attend Democracy Prep High School, where they can continue on their path to college.
