WHAT: The largest Presidential Inauguration event in Harlem. Community members will come together to witness and celebrate this historic transition of democratic power to a new administration. Thousands will gather together to enjoy dance and musical performances before watching Barack Obama deliver his inaugural address once he is sworn in as the 44th President of the United States. WHO: Students, families, teachers, and other community members, elected officials, and armed service members. (Between 6th and 7th Ave.) WHEN: Tuesday, January 20th 10:30 am (doors close at 11:00 am) to approximately 1:30pm. The 3 train stops at 145th and 6th avenue.
